Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE is set to officially launch its Nubia Z5 smartphone on the market in its homeland country on December 26.

As UnwiredView notes, previous rumors suggested that the company might make the new device official in China on December 21, but they proved wrong.

The smartphone will arrive on the market with a large 5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a full HD resolution, making it one of the most appealing handsets in the world.

It also sports a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor inside, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 2MP camera on the front, for making video calls.

ZTE has confirmed the device only for China for the time being, though it might be set to bring it to other markets around the world as well.
