Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE is gearing up for the launch of some new handsets in the coming months, and one of them has already emerged online, before being made official, under the name of ZTE Grand S EXT.

The smartphone was spotted in the Red-Dot 21 design directory, which suggests that it might not be too long before the company makes it official, and that the Chinese vendor is proud of its looks.

Indeed, it has a good reason to be, as the yet unannounced device comes with a curved back that should feel great in the hand.

Moreover, the description of this mobile phone claims that it is the very first device in 2014 to have been built using the Nano Molding Technology (NMT).

What that means is that the handset’s body was made of plastic and metal which were injection molded together, as Android Police notes.

At the same time, ZTE Grand S EXT is expected to arrive on the market with a smart dock that will provide users with wireless charging capabilities, yet no other details on the device’s hardware specifications have been unveiled as of now.

There’s no telling when the new mobile phone will go official either, so we’ll just have to wait to hear more on it from ZTE themselves. Hopefully, it won’t be long before that happens.
