The mobile phone is available at 1,888 Yuan ($308 / €229)

A new Nvidia Tegra 4-based smartphone is now available for purchase in China, namely the ZTE Geek, which features a price tag of only 1,888 Yuan ($308 / €229).

The mobile phone comes with appealing hardware specifications, starting with the 1.8GHz Tegra 4 chipset inside it and going all the way to the 5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel touchscreen display.

Furthermore, the device was launched with 2GB of RAM packed inside, as well as with 16GB of internal memory, as GizChina reports.

ZTE Geek features a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back and a 2MP front camera. It also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS receiver, Glonass, and a 2300mAh battery.

The handset was launched in China with support for the TD-SCDMA 3G network of China Mobile. It runs under Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system at the moment.
