Yahoo! for Android has just made it out of beta and is now available for download via Google Play. The new application replaces the previous one and promises a much better experience to those using Yahoo! services.

First of all, the application has been redesigned to offer a cleaner and more beautiful look. It allows users to select topics they want more stories about, or even email and share stories via Facebook and Twitter.

The web search experience has been overhauled, including images and video. However, there are some things that still need to be ironed out.

Lots of users are complaining that the application is not convenient enough, as it does not provide quick access to features such as email and groups. It is also worth mentioning that Yahoo! for Android is not available in all countries yet.

Yahoo! 1.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
