Yahoo! completely redesigned its email application for Android devices a few months ago, but not everything was fixed.

However, there’s a big difference between the new Yahoo! Mail application and the old one, which is why the app’s rating on Google Play Store jumped from merely 2.5 out of 5 to 4.

The good news is that Yahoo! continues to improve its Mail application for Android platform. Today, developers have deployed a small update that is meant to further enhance user experience of the software.

According to the official changelog, this small update brings some performance and stability improvements, which have yet to be detailed.

Yahoo! Mail 2.6.1 is now available as a free download via Softpedia and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 or later.
