Sony Xperia Z2 has recently gone on pre-order in Indonesia and the Japanese handset maker is now offering lots of goodies to those who purchase its flagship smartphone.

However, Sony fans in India might be in for a nice surprise as well. Although rumor has it that the Xperia Z2 should arrive in the country on May 8, there’s no telling when exactly the phone will go on sale.

Well, the good news is that Xperia Z2 is now listed on the Sony India website, though it’s not yet available for purchase. The smartphone has recently been spotted by XDA developer DooMLoRD, but other than that, no additional information is available at the moment.

Price-wise, we expect Sony Xperia Z2 to be available for purchase in India for more than Rs 50,000 ($830 / €600) outright, though there’s a high-chance that the smartphone will be priced slightly higher.

Android enthusiasts who are waiting for the Xperia Z2 to go official in India should also expect a plethora of freebies to come with their purchase of the smartphone.

Lots of apps, games and movies will come preloaded in the Xperia Z2 by default as well, including Michael Jackson’s XSCAPE album. It will be interesting to see what other pre-order offers customers in India will be able to take advantage of. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
