The Lime and Pink versions appear to be affected the most

Sony’s Xperia Z1 Compact, the latest Android-based smartphone from the company, is reportedly suffering from a series of issues with the camera flash.

Apparently, users took it to the forums to report said issues, claiming that the flash light is seeping (or bleeding) through the chassis and lens, as XperiaBlog notes.

As a result, the photos taken with the device are distorted, though it seems that the pink and lime versions of the smartphone are those greatly impacted by the issue.

To check on whether the handset suffers from the issue, one would have to cover the flash when taking a photo. Thus, the image will feature a lime or pink ‘halo.’
