Following the official unveiling of Sony’s new Android-based flagship Xperia Z smartphone, wireless carriers and retailers around the world have started to announce plans to make it available for their customers.

UK retailer Phones 4u is one of them, confirming not only that the phone will be added to its offering, but also the fact that it will become available in its stores starting with March 1, 2013.

For the time being, however, the company did not offer specific info on the price tag the new high-end smartphone will feature when released.

Xperia Z was announced with a 5-inch full HD screen, a quad-core CPU clocked in at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and front camera for video calling.
