Starting with January 26, China Telecom’s customers will be able to purchase the new Xiaomi MI2 smartphone on the network of their wireless carrier.

The info comes from Xiaomi themselves, set to make the smartphone available for purchase through their website starting with 12pm on Saturday.

The company will keep the phone’s price tag the same as for the other flavors, namely at 1,999 Yuan (around $322 / €242).

As UnwiredView notes, the handset will offer support for the carrier’s CDMA, while keeping features and capabilities previously announced for it.

It packs a 4.3-inch 720p HD touchscreen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, 2MP front camera, and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.
