Xiaomi, one of the most successful Android smartphone makers in China, is about to make its debut in the Philippines. The company has already confirmed plans to expand its business to additional countries, including Malaysia, India and Indonesia.

However, the first Xiaomi smartphones have already made their way to shelves in Malaysia and the next country to get them is the Philippines.

The bad news is that we’re still not sure which Xiaomi devices will be available in the Philippines this month. The Chinese company is now asking Android fans on its Facebook page which device they want to see launched in the Philippines first.

Probably Xiaomi will take a decision based on the feedback received, but we know for sure which handsets will be launched in the country in the next couple of weeks.

According to Xiaomi, the following Android smartphones should go on sale in the Philippines soon: Mi3, RedMi 1S and RedMi Note.

All three devices will be available for purchase via Xiaomi’s online shop, but some carriers might also add them to their portfolios. We expect more details on Xiaomi’s plans for the Philippines later this week, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
