An updated flavor of the Xbox Video application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices out there, namely version 2.5.3886.0.

No changelog has been added to the application, and we’re not sure what has been changed inside it, but chances are that the new update comes to devices with a series of fixes and improvements.

In fact, Windows Phone users have been complaining about a series of issues with the app following the previous update, and the new iteration of the software could have been designed to resolve those.

According to some users, the application would remain stuck in a loading state, and the video collection is now longer accessible.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Microsoft designed the software to provide users with access to movies and TV shows, all directly on their smartphones.

“Rent and buy new blockbuster movies and favorite classics, or catch up on last night's episodes of the hottest TV shows, and watch them on your Windows Phone, PC, tablet, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or at XboxVideo.com,” the application’s description reads.

We should also note the fact that the application has been rebranded, and that the Xbox name is no longer attached to it.

You can download Video 2.5.3886.0 for Windows Phone from the official Windows Phone Store.
