Microsoft has made available for download an updated iteration of its Xbox One SmartGlass mobile application for Windows Phone devices, one that arrives on handsets as version 1.0.3.3.

As part of the new update, users will receive a series of bug fixes, though no specific info on what was updated has been provided as of now.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Xbox One SmartGlass was released as a companion app for Xbox One, allowing users to connect to the console and control it from their smartphone.

Users will be able to navigate the Xbox One console using their device’s keyboard and touch, while also being able to control the media and set top box with the SmartGlass remote control.

The app also enables them to search, browse, and pin content to play on their Xbox One console, track achievements, get game help, message friends, and watch game DVR clips even when they are not at home, next to the console.

Xbox One SmartGlass is available for other mobile platforms as well, such as Android, offering similar capabilities.

In fact, Microsoft has released an updated version of the Android mobile client as well, now up for grabs as version 2.2.2. No changelog has been attached to the new release, though it might include bug fixes as well.
