Microsoft fans owning an Xbox One console, but an Android smartphone will be pleased to know the Redmond-based company has just released a new version of Xbox One SmartGlass Beta application.

The list of changes contains several new fetaures and improvements that have been announced prior to publishing the new iteration of the application on Google Play Store.

First of all, users will now be able to share and post activity feed items and post status updates to their own activity feed.

Microsoft also introduced the option to see your own activity feed on your profile, as well as the possibility to display messages in a new conversations view. Xbox One SmartGlass Beta users will now be able to record game clips.

According to the official changelog, you can now see release and features notes from within the application. Last but not least, the application has been made available to new markets, along with TV and OneGuide.

You can now download Xbox One SmartGlass Beta for Android 2.4 for free via Google Play store. The application has been confirmed to work on all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.

Keep in mind though that not all the new features and options will work in all countries Microsoft made the application available.
