Although Microsoft has already launched Windows 10 for Phones Technical Preview and plans to release the new OS as quickly as possible, the company continues to work on some apps that are an integral part of Windows Phone 8.1 like Xbox Music and Video.

These two applications have received so many updates until now that it's hard to count. Today, a new update for Xbox Music arrived on Windows Phone 8.1 devices, so if you have a smartphone powered by Microsoft’s mobile OS, you should check for the new version.

According to Xbox Music Team in charge with the development and support of the application, the update contains mostly bug fixes. The most important change is the fact that it addresses the black screen some fans were seeing instead of Now Playing.

The changelog also mentions that “several issues that were causing failures when syncing music from the cloud” have been fixed as well.

Hopefully, this new update will make the application smoother, as many users have been complaining about Xbox Music since its launch.

You can now download Xbox Music for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The application is only compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1.
