Microsoft’s Windows Phone Store is reportedly inaccessible from Windows Phone 8 or Windows Phone 7 devices at the moment, displaying error 805a0193 when users try to enter it to download apps or games.

As WMPoweruser notes, this is not the first time that the aforementioned error emerges on devices when trying to access the application portal.

Furthermore, it seems that the issue is widespread, as users in various markets worldwide report that the Store is not working on their devices.

Although specific info on the matter is not available, it appears that all is Microsoft’s fault, and that the error appears due to some misconfiguration from the Redmond-based software giant.

Most probably, the company will work fast on bringing the service back online, though it remains to be seen how fast this will happen.

Update: The issue appears to have been resolved. Users should be able to access the Windows Phone Store without problems.
