South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has been long rumored to plan the launch of a Windows Phone 8 device, and it appears that it might not be too long before it makes the handset official.
A recent article on WMPoweruser claims that info coming from AdDuplex has unveiled a certain Samsung SM-W750v smartphone that will bring the OS to Verizon’s network sooner or later.
The handset is said to pack a 4.3-inch touchscreen, but to be able to deliver a full HD resolution. It is expected to be launched alongside Nokia’s 5-inch Lumia Icon.
At the same time, a new Nokia smartphone running under Windows Phone 8 has emerged, featuring model number Nokia RM-997, but aimed at the Chinese market, it seems. This handset is said to be low-end, with only a WVGA touchscreen display.
