We already know that Microsoft is set to officially launch Windows Phone 8 on October 29th, yet no specific info on when devices running under it will hit the market has been provided as of yet.

However, according to rumors, we might see the first such phones put on shelves before the end of this month, and retailer listings appear to confirm that.

Windows Phone 8x by HTC, the first handset from the company to run under Microsoft’s new mobile OS, is now said to arrive in Finland before the end of October.

It can be seen at Expert.fi with a release date of somewhere between October 18th and 31st, and with a price tag of €579 attached to it, which makes it rather pricy, as WMPoweruser notes.

However, we’ll still have to wait for a formal announcement on its availability to learn when exactly it will be released.
