It would resemble Windows 8’s features in this regard

Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system is nearing its official release, yet the company hasn’t yet offered full details on what the platform has to provide users with.

In fact, both Microsoft and its manufacturing partners have been rather keen on not letting too many people touch devices that have been showcased so far, most probably so as to ensure that info on upcoming features doesn’t leak online.

Based on features included in Windows 8, which supposedly resembles the mobile platform, the guys over at pocketnow suggest that support for more gestures might be included in the new OS.

For example, it would be possible for users to switch between applications, see open apps or enter a split-screen view (provided that the platform indeed features this ability) through simply swiping right or left on the screen. Hopefully, this proves to be more than mere supposition.
