Owners of the Windows Phone 8X by HTC smartphone on Bell’s network in Canada are currently reporting the landing of the Windows Phone 8 Portico software update on their phones, a few months after devices on other networks got a taste of it.

The update will arrive on devices as version 8.0.10211.204, and should resolve some of the random reboots issues that the owners of the smartphone have been experiencing, MobileSyrup reports.

Furthermore, Portico will deliver SMS and Wi-Fi connectivity improvements to the owners of HTC 8X, it seems. Other enhancements should also be included in the new firmware update for HTC’s flagship Windows Phone 8 device.

Those who would like to check whether the update has been released for their smartphones can do so by heading to Settings -> Phone Update -> Check For Updates.
