Owners of Nokia Lumia devices in France have started to see the Windows Phone 8 build 10327 (GDR2) update arriving on their handsets, and Nokia France has already confirmed the availability of the software.

The info comes from the company’s Group Product Manager, Olivier Lagreou, who posted on Twitter that the update had started to roll out to Nokia’s devices in the local market.

All owners of an unlocked Lumia smartphone should be able to grab the new operating system upgrade, though people with carrier-branded devices might have to wait a bit longer for it to arrive, it seems.

As WPCentral notes, handsets will show a notification when the update is pushed to them, though users can also go to Settings > Software Updates to check on the availability of the new software for their smartphones.
