HTC, Nokia and Samsung are not the only mobile phone makers set to release new Windows Phone handsets in the coming months, as Alcatel is also said to have such a smartphone in the works.

In fact, a photo of the device has already emerged online, courtesy of Eldar Murtazin, and is said to be running under the Windows Phone 7.8 platform from Microsoft.

Just as anyone would imagine, the new device is expected to prove a highly affordable phone, and some even suggest that it might go for under $200 when made official.

No specific info on what the phone would pack in terms of hardware has been provided as of yet, but we could expect it to sport 512MB of RAM or less, based on the OS flavor it runs under.
