LG Optimus 4X HD was one of the first quad-core Android smartphones to become official at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

In addition to the 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor inside, the smartphone arrives on shelves with a large 4.7-inch HD touchscreen display and runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Apparently, it will also be launched in a white flavor, and ePrice has already grabbed the device and played with it a bit, as can be seen in the video embedded above.

The phone is capable of great performance, though it falls behind rival devices such as the HTC One X, and might trail the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III as well.

One thing that is certain, however, is that the smartphone looks cool, and that the hardware inside it is impressive as well.
