An updated flavor of the Whine application is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry 10 smartphones, namely version 1.4.6.6.

One of the main features that the new iteration comes with is BBM integration, which is complemented by a dark theme that gives it a more BlackBerry 10 feel.

According to the release notes available for the software courtesy of CrackBerry, parsing contacts has been completely fixed in the new release, the same as front cam Vines flipped thumbnail. Moreover, the app comes with a limit of 120 characters for comments text, as well as with support for landscape.

At the same time, users should enjoy increased network speeds, courtesy of the option to save and reuse SSL sessions. There is also decreased startup time and load available to enjoy, via DNS lookup warmup.

The changelog for the app also shows that prices are back in Donation dialog, and that the app comes with cache auto control, purging everything older than 7 days on startup.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Whine was launched as a third-party Vine client for BlackBerry 10 devices, capable of providing users with all the features and capabilities they would want to have in an official client for the service.

Yu can download Whine 1.4.6.6 for BlackBerry 10 from Softpedia today.
