At the moment, the application suffers in functionality due to some missing features, but the team of developers behind it appears set to resolve this in the near future.
In fact, they have already responded to user complaints on Twitter by saying that “You will see a lot of improvements in the next batch of releases.”
One of the issues that should be resolved in the next WhatsApp for Windows Phone release relates to the use of Background Audio API for receiving messages, since it has been causing a variety of problems on handsets, WMPoweruser notes.
