A new flavor of the WhatsApp messaging client is now available for download for the owners of Symbian devices, namely version 2.10.125.

Unfortunately, no official changelog has been released along with the new application iteration, and it still remains to be seen what exactly was changed inside it.

However, given that the new app release comes with a minor change in version when compared to the previous app release, we can assume that it packs mainly bug fixes and performance improvements.

The WhatsApp Messenger provides users with the possibility to chat with their friends and contacts that have WhatsApp installed on their devices, regardless of whether they are on iPhone, BlackBerry, Android or Nokia phones.

The application can be used both over WiFi and 3G networks, though it would require a data plan on mobile networks. The service costs $0.99 USD/year after the first 12 months of usage, which are free.
