The application will now show message status icons in the HUB in OS 10.2.1

An updated iteration of the WhatsApp Messenger is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry devices out there, with appealing enhancements inside.

The new app release should work nicely with the BlackBerry OS 10.2.1 that started to roll out yesterday, and even packs a feature specific to the platform, with message status icons visible in the Hub.

The software also sports updated emoji picker for Q-series devices, along with inline picture thumbnails for landscape photos are now larger on Q-series devices, and support for multiple text messages per bubble, sharing and multi-select in chat bubbles.

The contact info screen has been redesigned in the new version, and there’s also a new title bar on the main screen and chat screens. Moreover, the update resolves various Hub account related issues and packs bug fixes inside, CrackBerry notes in a recent post.
