A new flavor of the WhatsApp Messenger is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry 10-based devices, providing users with a variety of enhancements over the previous version, it seems.

According to a recent post on CrackBerry, the update mobile client comes with voice message fixes and improvements including audio routing support (headset/handset/Bluetooth), as well as with media Auto-Download settings.

Furthermore, the new app release features emoji input now supported for profile name, status messages and group subjects, and enables users to change the default maps for opening received locations.

Furthermore, the new iteration of WhatsApp for BlackBerry 10 comes with push notification fixes, as well as with various other fixes and performance improvements.

WhatsApp for BlackBerry 10 can be found on this page in the BlackBerry World. The app might not appear as updated to all users, though it should do so in the not too distant future.
