The first beta release of the app should arrive in two weeks

Recently, Waze has been rumored to plan the launch of a Windows Phone application for the not too distant future, and confirmation on the matter is now available.

A recent post on the company’s forum confirms not only that the application will arrive on Microsoft’s mobile operating system in the not too distant future, but also that a beta testing period for it has kicked off.

The info comes from Perlin Agranat, Waze’s regional director for the Middle East, who announced that the company has started recruiting Windows Phone users for the testing of the crowdsourced GPS navigation app.

As WMPoweruser notes, the first beta flavor of the Waze for Windows Phone application should arrive on devices within the next two weeks. Stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
