Back in December, we were telling you that the LG G2 will receive the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop at some point in the future.

If you were a bit skeptic of the information back then, we bring you yet another piece of evidence to back up our earlier statement.

Albanno Tosska’s YouTube channel shows us the Korean version of the LG G2 handset running Android 5.0.1 in a video. So at this point it seems beyond doubt that the smartphone will be getting the bump up to Google’s latest OS.

The video was filmed with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the result is a little bit odd-looking. Nevertheless, you get to see all you need to see, as the YouTube user takes you on a virtual tour of Android L on the device.

When it arrives, the update is expected to bestow G3’s characteristic UI on the G2.

Sadly, we still don’t have an update related to when we’re supposed to see Lollipop make it out for you LG G2s.

Launched back in 2013, the LG G2 was a flagship device arriving with a 5.2-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution (424 ppi) and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor on the inside.

The handset originally shipped with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
