WIND Mobile is the latest wireless carrier to officially announce the availability of carrier billing for its BlackBerry users.

The wireless carrier has posted on Twitter that its users can now purchase applications and games through RIM’s official portal and have them charged on their monthly bill.

“BlackBerry users: Now you can download apps from App World & charge it directly to your monthly bill or prepaid credit,” the carrier announced.

RIM has been working with a wide range of carriers around the world to provide users with similar capabilities, in an attempt to increase sales of mobile applications for its platform.

In addition to this new feature, WIND Mobile also confirmed recently that it was planning the launch of BlackBerry 10 smartphones on its network, as soon as RIM makes them available for purchase.
