Australian carrier Vodafone has just announced the availability of a new software update for HTC One X, which is supposed to fix some of the smartphone’s bugs.

Although this is just a minor update that will not change the way users experience and interact with the device, it will surely improve the overall performance of the device and smoother user experience.

Software version 1.29.862.11 is currently pushed OTA (over the air), but due to the size of the update it is recommended to perform the download via Wi-Fi connection.

However, HTC One X owners should know that Vodafone will not deduct data from monthly allowance should customers choose to download the update over 3G using a Vodafone SIM.

The update is said to fix lots of bugs and address several stability issues, so we recommend installing upgrading to the latest Android version as soon as possible.
