14 DAY TRIAL // The Galaxy W was launched on the market back in October as a mid-range Android smartphone. Also known as Samsung Galaxy Wonder, the smartphone is now available for purchase in Canada from Virgin Mobile.
However, it looks like the smartphone has yet to be listed on the carrier's online store. The folks over at MobileSyrup got their hands on an internal document that confirms Virgin Mobile Galaxy W can now be purchased via Best Buy.
The smartphone is available for as low as $49.99 on SuperTab or for a suggested retail price of $199.99 CAD.
Although the Galaxy W comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board, Samsung plans to deliver a “Value Pack” update within the following weeks.
This update contains some of the new features offered by Ice Cream Sandwich specially optimized to work on low hardware configurations.
