Today, Twitter made an important announcement for the Android community, as the long-expected Vine for Android application has become available for download.

With this software, users will be able to easily create, share and watch short looping videos, the same as the Vine community of over 13 million people can already do.

In addition to easy video creation with automatic playback and sound, users will also be able to browse through more popular posts and see what’s trending straight from the mobile application, while also having the option to find friends and invite them to join the community.

Vine for Android arrives on devices with a feature exclusive to the operating system, namely zoom, as well as with the option to share posts to Twitter.

Furthermore, the software is set to receive a nice range of updates in the near future, including front-facing camera, search, mentions and hashtags, along with the option to share to Facebook, which will bring it in line with the iOS mobile client.

Vine for Android offers support for all Android 4.0 and newer devices, and can be seen on this page on Softpedia.
