Viber appears set to provide the owners of Windows Phone 8 devices with a better experience when using its application, and it has decided to kick off a beta testing program for that.

Thus, the company has announced on Facebook that users who have a Windows Phone 8 smartphone and would like to have a look at the new features inside the app before it becomes publicly available are welcome to do so.

As WPCentral notes, Viber does not offer too many details on what the beta testing process will involve, but we can imagine that it won’t be different from what is available with other mobile applications out there.

The Viber app was made available on Windows Phone about two years ago, and it has already seen a great deal of improvements and new features.

However, due to increasing competitiveness in the VoIP space on mobile devices, we can imagine that Viber is looking to improve its app and service in order to ensure that it can attract more users to its side.

Users who are interested in beta testing Viber for Windows Phone 8 are required to show similar dedication and to possess "a keen eye for detail, time to dedicate to bug reporting and completing a short feedback survey."
