Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices will soon be able to take full advantage of the features and capabilities of the Viber messaging application, the company has confirmed.

Speaking to trutower.com, Talmon Marco, the CEO of Viber, has unveiled that the VoIP application is almost ready to make an official appearance, and that it won’t be long before users get a taste of it.

The best part of the deal is that the software won’t be launched exclusively on Nokia’s Windows Phone 8-based Lumia handsets, and that all owners of devices powered by Microsoft’s latest mobile OS will be able to enjoy its benefits.

“Viber for Windows Phone 8 is in final development stages. We should have it real soon. We will be supporting all Windows Phone 8 devices,” he said. Unfortunately, no specific release date has been provided as of now.
