Good news for Viber users who own Windows Phone devices, as developers have just announced that the latest version of the application brings new features and improvements.

The latest update brings Viber for Windows Phone to version 4.1.0.0 and adds important new features such as Viber Out and hands-free Bluetooth support.

With Viber Out, Windows Phone users will be able to call non-Viber mobile and landline numbers at very low rates. This feature has already been introduced on Android and iOS platforms, but Windows Phone has been skipped from the initial rollout.

Aside from the new feature mentioned earlier, Viber users who own Windows Phone devices will now be able to send video messages, as well as multiple photos at the same time. With the new hands-free Bluetooth support, users will be able to transfer calls to Bluetooth smoothly.

Those who already have the application installed on their device should check for the new update on Windows Phone Store, while new users can now download Viber for Windows Phone 4.1.0.0 for free via Softpedia.

Keep in mind that the application is only compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up. It is also worth mentioning that Viber for Windows Phone does not feature any advertising, even though it’s completely free.
