Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices will soon be able to enjoy a new highly appealing game on their smartphones, namely Halo: Spartan Assault, and it seems that Verizon’s customers will be the first to receive access to it.

The game, officially unveiled not long ago, has already been confirmed to arrive in the US on Verizon’s Windows Phone 8 devices in the beginning, and only then to see expanded availability. It will cost $6.99 / €5.36.

In this game, users will play missions as Commander Sarah Palmer or Spartan Davis, engaging a relentless alien foe in missions that haven’t been available in Halo before.

“Halo: Spartan Assault will be available for $6.99 on the Windows Phone App Store and will be playable on the Nokia Lumia 928, Nokia Lumia 822, Windows Phone 8X by HTC and Samsung ATIV Odyssey from Verizon Wireless,” the wireless carrier announced.
