Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is reportedly gearing up for the release of its own Windows Phone 8-based Nokia smartphone, and the first week of November might see the device on shelves, rumor has it.

A certain Lumia 822 handset has already been spotted in the carrier’s Device Management system, and the same smartphone reportedly leaked online shortly before Nokia’s launch event for Lumia 820 and Lumia 920.

Nokia Innovation has it that the phone that can be seen in the last photo below might be Verizon-bound, especially since it features the same form factor as Lumia 820, but different camera orientation.

With Microsoft expected to officially launch Windows Phone 8 before the end of the next month and with Verizon confirming plans to add WP8 handsets to its lineup, we could expect for more info on this smartphone to emerge shortly.
