14 DAY TRIAL // Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has been long rumored to plan the release of Nokia’s new Windows Phone 8-based handsets on its network, and proof of that is now available.
A Nokia RM-845 handset has been spotted at the FCC with support for Verizon's CDMA and LTE bands, further boasting a microSD memory card slot to expand the available internal memory.
Since Lumia 920 has no such slot and said device sports about the same dimensions as the GSM-based Lumia 820, there is only one possibility standing out when it comes to this device: it might prove to be the rumored Lumia 822 for Big Red, Engadget notes.
Photos with the handset were already spotted online, as well as some info on its specs, including the fact that it will hit the market with quad-band HSPA 3G for global roaming and with NFC capabilities packed inside.
Verizon has yet to make an official announcement on this Windows Phone 8 smartphone, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
