The smartphone offers support for Verizon's 4G LTE network

Verizon’s Nokia Lumia 822, the first Windows Phone 8-based smartphone from Nokia available at the wireless carrier, is now down to only $0.99 at Wirefly.

Users interested in purchasing the smartphone with a two-year contract agreement at Verizon can now head over to the retailer's website to take advantage of the deal.

The handset arrives on shelves with support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, while packing a 4.3" AMOLED touchscreen and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside.

Moreover, Nokia Lumia 822 also comes with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with a 1.2MP camera on the front for making video calls.

At the same time, it offers 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, expandable by up to 64GB via microSD memory card slot, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS receiver, and an 1800 mAh battery that can offer up to 10 hours of usage time.
