Only a few days after it became officially available for purchase through Verizon Wireless in the United States, Lucid by LG got a taste of its first software update.

There are no new features available for users as part of the new software update, though some enhancements were included.

According to Verizon's support website, the Enhanced Caller Name ID application has been disabled in the new software update for Lucid.

The new smartphone was put up for sale at Verizon last week with a price tag of $79.99 (60 Euro) attached to it upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

The handset offers support for the carrier’s 4G LTE network and features a 4.0" IPS Touch Screen Display, a 5MP camera with 1080p HD Video Capture, a 1.2 GHz Dual–Core processor with 1GB RAM, and Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform on top.
