14 DAY TRIAL // A new software update is now available for download for the owners of HTC 8X smartphones on the network of wireless carrier Verizon, in the form of build number 3030.0.42201.605.

Following the installation of this new firmware release on their HTC 8X smartphones, users will see that the baseband version has been upgraded to 2.00.50.0528_3.
Moreover, they will enjoy a small set of improvements, including roaming enhancements when traveling internationally, the available release notes reveal.
Additionally, the new firmware upgrade should provide users with improved reliability when sending SMS messages, it seems.
