Starting May 30, mobile phone users in the United States will be able to purchase the Gold flavor of the Galaxy S5 smartphone in their country, and Verizon Wireless will be one of the carriers to offer support for it.

Samsung has already unveiled plans for the release of this new version of the flagship device in the country, and it has also said that Verizon’s customers will be able to grab the phone via indirect sales channels.

Today, we can have a closer look at the Gold Galaxy S5 for Verizon, courtesy of a leaked press photo available via evleaks.at, which also unveils that the device will offer full support for the carrier’s 4G LTE network.

Of course, this does not come as a surprise, since the new phone iteration has already been said to sport all of the features and capabilities that the original was released with.

This would also include its 5.1-inch full HD screen, a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory. Moreover, the handset packs a 16-megapixel camera on the back, with support for 4K video recording, as well as a front camera for video calling.

The Gold Galaxy S5 will run under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, the same as the original models, and it will also feature Samsung’s own TouchWiz user interface.
