A new software update is currently rolling out to the device

Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has announced the availability of a new software update for its Droid DNA smartphone, in the form of firmware 2.06.605.1 710RD.

According to the document that Verizon has published on the matter on its support website, the update was meant to deliver a series of improvements to SIM card detection.

“Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a new software update, 2.06.605.1 710RD, for your Droid DNA. Verizon Wireless and HTC encourage you to download this update,” the carrier notes.

No other details on the update have been provided, but the guys over at TalkAndroid claim that users are already receiving it on their Droid DNA handsets.
