Verizon and HTC published last week the official changelog of the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update for HTC Thunderbolt.

Although the carrier did not reveal any details on the exact release date of the long-awaited update, it needed less than a week to make it available to HTC Thunderbolt owners.

The folks at AndroidCentral claim there have been reports coming from users that Ice Cream Sandwich is now available for download.

The file is about 400MB in size and is pushed OTA (over the air) in waves, which means not all HTC Thunderbolt owners will receive it at the same time.

Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update brings HTC Sense 3.6 UI, along with several Verizon-related apps and services, such as Verizon Remote Diagnostics. For more details on this update's changes, check out the official changelog here.
