Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has started to deliver a new software update for the owners of LG Lucid 2, providing users with a series of small enhancements and bug fixes.

The new firmware is rolling out now as version VS87012A, fixing an issue with auto-correct and touch response on the LG and Google keyboards, as well as a problem that prevented Calendar events from syncing automatically.

At the same time, the new software brings GMS version R6 to the device and adds a toast popup that shows when the widget is not resizable.

“Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a software update designed to improve the performance of your Lucid 2 smartphone,” the wireless carrier noted. Those who would like to learn specific info on how to update their devices to the newer firmware version should head over to Verizon’s support website.
