14 DAY TRIAL // Shortly after confirming the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Verizon published the official changelog of the next software upgrade for the Galaxy S III.
Although this is not the hotly-anticipated Android 4.2 update, software version JZO54K.I535VRBMB1 will upgrade the phone from Android 4.1.1 to 4.1.2. The following changes are included in this minor update:
- Keyboard Predictive Text feature has been improved; - User can take pictures while on a call; - Manual refresh button has been added to lock screen stock ticker; - Email syncing has been improved; - Bluetooth performance has been improved; - VZ Navigator and Amazon have been added to stub applications.
No word on exactly when Verizon and Samsung will begin the rollout of this Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S III, but we expect it to be pushed OTA (over the air) within the next few days.
