Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has been pushing global roaming capabilities to some of its 4G LTE smartphones lately, and is planning to continue doing so.

According to phoneArena, the recently released DROID Incredible 4G LTE from HTC will be among these devices, being set to taste the capability via a soon-to-come software update.

Unfortunately, the wireless carrier did not offer specific info on when the update would be delivered to its users, nor did it detail the Global Roaming bands the device would taste.

However, since the phone comes with a Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC, it might get the feature on GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and UMTS/HSPA+ (850/900/1900/2100 MHz) networks.

The recently updated DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX from Motorola received global roaming on GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and UMTS/HSPA+ (850/900/1900/2100 MHz) networks.
