We reported a few days ago that Verizon Wireless confirmed a software update would soon arrive for Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

It appears that this is indeed the hotly-anticipated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update, which has already been pushed to most Nexus devices for quite some time now.

Droid-Life unveils that some testers reported Verizon has already started the rollout of the update, but this is not be the final version of the update as the carrier has to test it first.

However, if nothing goes wrong and the build does not have any major issues, we can expect Samsung and Verizon to start pushing the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update (JDQ39) to Galaxy Nexus devices within the next few days. We will keep an eye out for this one, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
