The carrier has already published the official changelog
After an Exynos chipset exploit was discovered a while ago, Samsung promised a software update will be pushed to all affected devices. The Galaxy Note II is one of the affected models and as such, it is meant to receive a small security update that will address this exploit.
T-Mobile was among the first US-based carriers to update its Galaxy Note II model a few days ago and now it looks like Verizon Wireless is doing the same thing with its carrier-bounded phablet.
The Big Red has already published the official changelog of this update and, as expected it brings security improvements and enhancements: “Android Security Patch added for additional security.”
The update is pushed OTA (over the air) in stages, so not all Samsung Galaxy Note II owners might receive it at the same time.
